Very very proud of our Sous Chef, Daniel Peters, who will be representing Australia at the prestigious international Jeunes Chefs Rotisseurs competition in Istanbul –Turkey on 6th September 2013.
The ‘International Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Competition‘ is an annual event for young chefs to showcase and demonstrate their culinary skills in a competitive environment with their peers at a local, state, national and international level.
Daniel won the North Queensland heat and then went on to compete at the Gold Coast against other state winners to take out the title to be Australia’s representative.
This is huge for the Townsville Restaurant scene to have one of our own Chefs representing our country at this level. Daniel is a North Queensland boy growing up in Cairns, before making the move to Townsville last year to join the JAM corner crew.
