High Tea Occasion

Afternoon Tea originally began as a simple, small plate of sandwiches, a slice of cake and of course a steaming pot of tea. Served around 4.00pm it filled the gap between luncheon at noon and a fashionably late dinner around 8.00pm.

Now known as High Tea it is a celebration in itself, an occasion for ladies to dress up and enjoy a delicious, delectable and delightful array of savoury and sweet treats.

JAM’s High Teas are popular for Bridal showers, Baby Showers and Birthdays and are available for groups of 12. We have Classic and a Deluxe menu with sparkling wine and French Champagne adding to the festivities. Our teas are served on traditional tiered stands and we have a range of leaf tea by Tavalon of New York.

If you are celebrating a birthday or special occasion JAM makes terrific in-house cakes that would be a deliciously sweet addition to your event. Some of our cakes are displayed with flower toppers – any florist will be able to suggest a few blooms to dress the cake.

The Luxe private dining room can seat up to 16 guests with the Loft room and balcony available for larger groups.
